Making A rail road for Catastocraft

how can you attack killers faction if they have a big wall? Also the factions feel so far apart shouldnt we be able to warp in to there faction with a certain command

Well, you must first kill their members enough times to lower their power enough to claim land. Then, you can claim the wall itself, and you may break 2 blocks, or make a very small hole in the wall so that you can claim all the land inside the wall. If any unnecessary destruction is found, you are subject to war crime punishments.

I like the rules, but you should include more information on the rules of engagement. Here are some points I think you should consider.

-If both factions agree to war with destruction of property, it should be called "Total War"

-If a faction declares war on another faction, there must be good reason to.

-If one faction declares war on another for good reasons, but the other disagrees to it all together, that faction should be penalized.

- There should probably some sort of penalty for the faction that wants to end the war, after already agreeing to war, but the other does not want to end. It should count as a loss.

-As for what mrcarrot was saying, the factions are pretty far apart. I think it would be a good idea if we had a large rail system connecting all of the factions, with the main train station in the city.

I agree with pretty much everything but the rail system. If a faction goes to war, they could very easily sabotage the system, rendering it useless. Also, who wants to build a massive system sprawling all over the map?

how about that you can have war punishments for doing that by sabatoging the rail road system or have it be like a sub way and have it come up nearby the faction so as not to have the railroad be involved with the fight except for the trasnsportion. For the buliding part we should give the position of our faction( using f3) and have the faction people build a connection to the two closest factions. also the resouces can be gotten from the owners by using commands I think but im not to sure.

I feel like it's not right to have a mandatory connection between all factions; if they want to be connected, it should be their job to get connected, but I'm not about to force anyone to build a huge rail system.

Well It wouldn't have to be mandatory. What you could do is make a post asking who wants to take part in the construction of the railway. Then set a date, for all who replied to the post, to meet on the server. After everyone is on, you could give them a certain amount of rails, and let them start working.

Yeah you and me could oversee the project, if its ok with Chrono. We still would need the rails to be supplied by him, or anyone who can spawn items, because I probably only have enough resources to get halfway to one faction.

yeah and I dont have enough stuff to make one rail at the moment right now. So it sounds like a plan if it is ok with Chrono.

Well, if you guys want it, I will consider putting it up for vote, and if it passes, I suppose I will supply the rails.
